Debut studio album
Rooted firmly in the tradition of first and second wave black metal, Thiudareiks creates sonic art with a twist, integrating elements of death and thrash metal into its music, as well as a touch of avantgarde.
Lyrically the band approaches the condition of modern experience through metaphors transmitted by themes like paganism, nature, war, death, myths, the supernatural, history, philosophy, mysticism, suffering, cosmic principles and other sinister sources of inspiration for the dark-minded.
Thiudareiks was founded by guitarist/vocalist Rigurwothis Rex and drummer Sargatanas in Helsinki, Finland in 1997. During the first years, Thiudareiks recorded rehearsal tapes as well as a demo and
played a few live-performances. Over time, the band went through a number of line-up changes and periods of hiatus with its members being involved in other projects. In 2022, Thiudareiks' debut EP "Of Entering the Endless Plains" was published. The band recorded its
first full-length album two years after that.
