"Born in the early ‘80s in the Latina area under the name Negative Existence, No Existence are a legendary experimental/radical no wave unit that represent an anomaly in the vast Italian post-punk & new wave scene. Opposed both by the public and even by concert organizers and sound engineers of the time, No Existence were like a 'Molotov cocktail' thrown into the musical swamp of Latina, whose detonation can still be heard today, despite the fact that 40 years have passed. Armed only with vocals, guitar, electric bass, drum machine, self-built synthesizer, and even a self-built mixer, they recorded the demo tape 'The Bathos' in march 1986, released by Inesistent Produzioni, Andrea Lopez’s label."
