January 23rd of this year marked exactly 25 years since the release of Rapoon's extraordinary, epic double album "Cold War," a significant standout in his extensive discography. Here, the Briton takes on his own interpretation of the then-popular drum 'n' bass, infusing it with his own sound. The distinctive rhythm and low-bass sound are filled with a multitude of oriental flourishes, Middle Eastern sounds, and melodies that define Robin's signature style. Interestingly, the theme explored at the time referred to a historical perspective on the conflict. Paradoxically, after more than a quarter of a century, it has become strangely relevant. It's also at this time that we're publishing a special edition, expanded with another disc, a reinterpretation of the AD 2025 material, as a further development of the theme—symbolically—out of the need to fill in the missing threads in the face of the geopolitical changes that occurred during the time between the two conflicts.
Edition of the album on three CDs in an eight-panel digipack.
