Agonist Sounds Issue No.2
: documentation of the post-industrial underground :
Agonist Sounds is a new publication launched as a side-magazine to, and division of Noise Receptor Journal.
To provide context, Noise Receptor Journal: sound with impact -- analysing the abstract, is one of the most well-respected underground zines dealing with post-industrial music, with a particular focus on dark ambient, death industrial, heavy electronics, and power electronics. 13 print issues have been released to date between 2013-2015.
Notably, Agonist Sounds covers the same post-industrial territory as Noise Receptor Journal. Yet the content of Agonists Sounds exclusively focuses on interviews with current underground artists and labels, while excluding any articles, reviews, or advertisements.
