L.ed.num 300 , incl. download code! It’s been a long time between drinks! Finally here is the new full-length from Isomer: his first release since Cipher Productions’ 2011 EP ‘Nil by Mouth’ and his first on Tesco since 2009. In the intervening years, the violence and dirt of alter ego Rope Society has had a good airing, but with ‘Three Kestrels’ that project’s modus operandi meets Isomer’s more subdued material to spurt a blend of muscular power electronics and heavy drone, similar to the direction on ‘Nil by Mouth’. Taking as its starting point a period of personal upheaval, ‘Three Kestrels’ looks at the experiences of unfamiliar territory and is a paean to strength and overcoming. Our most foreign and unfamiliar experiences harbour the greatest change.
